Leave the Outcome to Me November 29, 2011
Leave the Outcome to Me November 29, 2011 …was my devotion Saturday morning as I got ready to kick off our
Horse Ministry program once again. It was a sweet time with the Lord as He prepared my heart for the morning. All the leaders
arrived at the ranch, many new to the program, and we sent out the two vans- one to the church (La Paz de Cristo) to pick
up our church kids and the other to Marques de Leon, the next door village we’ve been working in and praying for. The
rest of us stayed here and made all of the preparations, waiting expectantly for all of the kids.
The first van to get
back was the one from the church. The leaders jumped out... and the van was empty. Completely empty! In the three years we’ve
run this program we have never had an empty van. “No kids!” I said in disbelief. How can this be! Where are the
kids? What will we do? What will I say to all these new leaders? Lord, what should we do? “Leave the outcome to Me,"
He whispered.
The second van pulled up; the one from the village. It was led by Peter in the Subaru. To our utter
amazement, both car and van were completely packed with kids!!! Kids who had never been to the ranch, most of which had never
even touched a horse, and many who had never heard the Gospel. Ahhh, how much better is it when we trust the outcome to Him!
We had an incredible time together and the children's eyes sparkled as I said, "See you next week!"
As we came together
this week to celebrate Thanksgiving Day, we were so grateful for the chance to see the Lord touching so many lives here.
We also thank God for you each day; for the way you have touched our lives, stood beside us, prayed for us, helped us through
times of struggle, lifted us up in times of joy and continued to walk this journey by our side. -Cher

Vision Tour November 12,
2011 Crossroads Christian Fellowship is an English speaking church that meets at the chapel in Casa Buena. About
10 people from CCF came out to the Ranch on Saturday to catch the vision. Some have been supporting the Ranch for a long
time, and were eager to share it. Others were curious to see what God is doing here.
Cher and Peter shared
with them about the kinds of ministries that go on at the ranch- from intern programs, to horse ministry, to VBS in the colonia,
etc. Everyone then took a walking tour of all the facilities, and were excited to see how much God is moving and providing.
It was awesome to have fresh faces at the Ranch, and to see their willingness to come alongside the work here. God
is making connections all over the place!

Fishes and Loaves November
4, 2011 This Sunday both local churches, La Paz de Cristo and El Faro, stepped up to
the plate inviting friends, family and co-workers to the ranch. A record 240 people converged on the ranch for our 2nd anual
family day.
Jesus fed five thousand with two fish and five loaves, and here He fed 240 with one pig and beef tacos for fifty.
There was definitely a divine multiplication of resources. The day started with 3 ranchers butchering a pig they killed earlier
that morning. They then prepared carnitas with every part of the pig in the world's largest pot over an open fire. It was
deleicious.
A spiritual message was delivered by one of the leaders of La Paz de Cristo, and the day ended with
games and laughter. Everyone left both physically and spiritually satisfied.
